About Shameer
Having studied Physics and achieved a First Class Honours, as well as pursuing a PhD at Cambridge, gives me competence in problem-solving together with a never-ending opportunity to enhance my critical thinking and analytical skills. This makes me the perfect candidate to be teaching mathematically heavy subjects like Physics and Maths. Through my years of experience in academia, I have learnt that mathematical subjects are not about merely memorising. They are almost all about problem solving and consistent practice. Therefore, I will offer engaging and productive lessons to make my students achieve the best grades possible. My strategy has been proven again and again by other students who achieve the top grades in the country.
My lessons are 1-2 hours and go as follows:
1) A 5-15 minute overview of content covered previously or about to cover. Followed by any questions the student has about the overview.
2) I will then do example questions in front of the student so they have a good understanding of the application of the theory. Followed by any questions the student has about the example question.
3) Thereafter, the bulk of the session will be spent by the student doing practice questions and me helping them with any mistakes they fall into.
4) Finally, a 5-10 minute summary of the content covered and any questions the student might have. I will provide 1000s of exam-style practice questions for my students and thoroughly assist them throughout their academic journey. Practice makes perfect!

Shameer is an amazing teacher. He explains subjects in detail, making sure that every aspect of the topic is covered even from first principles. Then he gives thousands of practice problems to make sure that the knowledge you gained is applied fully and your understanding is elite.
As Shameer says, practice indeed makes perfect. This is the basis of his teaching which is the best way to learn. I have seen myself a substantial increase in his student’s grades!
