About Rory
Hi, I am Rory. I have always had a deep love for mathematics, and wish to share this with others. I have worked at my school as a GCSE maths tutor to small groups, but after leaving school, I am looking to expand as a tutor.
The joy I experienced after receiving an offer to read Mathematics at St John’s college is something I wish to share with others.

I enjoy teaching and tutoring students not by giving hints, but instead asking questions, that in answering, direct a student to solve a problem. I like to allow a student to develop as a mathematician, rather than just handing out answers.
Not only do I enjoy using this method with students, but I, myself have received mentoring under a very similar method, and I believe I was brought on massively.
