About Oisin

I'm Oisín, from Ireland. I'm a qualified English teacher (CELT) with an MA from the University of Galway, and I currently teach business English to corporate clients for a South Korean company. Before that I spent ten years as a stand-up comedian, performing in twelve countries, including Carolines on Broadway in New York and The Comedy Store in London. So I know a lot about speaking with confidence in front of people, and I can help you do the same.
I also speak Spanish, so I understand the challenges of learning a language as an adult.
Lessons are online. Your first lesson is a chance to talk about your goals and see if we're a good fit.

Lessons are built around what you actually need: meetings, presentations, interviews, travel, or just speaking more naturally and confidently. We'll talk a lot. I'll correct you clearly, explain why, and give you phrases you can use straight away. Every student gets a plan based on their goals, not a textbook.
I work especially well with professionals who understand English but freeze when they have to speak, and with anyone who wants to sound more natural and less "textbook".
