About
Teaching has always been more than just a job for me — it’s a genuine passion. I’m Lorraine, a qualified teacher and examiner with a background in both education and business. After working in banking and recruitment, I retrained to become a teacher because I found real fulfilment in helping others succeed. Over the last 15 years, I’ve taught in sixth forms, colleges, and schools, and I’ve supported hundreds of students to achieve their goals — whether that’s passing a GCSE, securing a university place, or simply gaining confidence in a subject they once found overwhelming. What motivates me most is seeing a student go from “I can’t do this” to “I get it now.” I believe every learner has potential, and it’s my job to unlock it with patience, practical support, and personalised strategies. That’s why I continue to teach: to make a real difference in someone’s learning journey.
