About Ram
I am Ramkishore, with protein expression and purification expertise in bacterial expression systems. I have experience from gene to protein to antibody development to a functional assay. In my last project, I designed a plasmid with a gene of interest, which is a potential oral cancer biomarker, then expressed it in a bacterial expression system and purified the protein. Using that protein, I developed antibodies. Using those antibodies, I developed the ELISA-based assay to identify the range of biomarkers in different patient categories.
