About Olivia
I am a second year biomedical student at Kings College London. I also took biology, chemistry and maths at A-level. I am new to tutoring however I am keen to help children to enjoy learning and achieve the best grades they can.

I approach each topic by looking at the general outline to begin with and then breaking that down into detail in order to make sure the content is understandable. I think it's really important to start small and consolidate the important main points instead of bombarding students with information. I find the best way for children to learn and remember the knowledge is to continue to review what has already been done and then add to this each time, this really helps to lock that knowledge into their long term memory!
I also believe it's essential that lessons are enjoyable so a combination of diagrams/videos is key to keeping student engaged and can really help them to visualise a concept and understand it fully.
