About Victoria
Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m a Biomedical Science graduate (2:1) from the University of Edinburgh with a passion for making science clear and approachable. I specialize in tutoring Biology and Science for Junior and Leaving Cert students, but I also enjoy supporting younger learners (ages 8–12) to build confidence and study skills. I like to tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, as everyone learns differently. During my own studies, I found that visual tools like spider diagrams and imagery made complex processes much easier to understand, and I now use these techniques with my students. My lessons are interactive, structured, and usually last between one and two hours. I also bring teaching experience from my time as an au pair in Italy, where I organized English lessons for two children through a mix of activities, games, and testing knowledge. I believe learning should be engaging and motivating, and I work hard to adapt my approach for every student.

I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of the students; everyone has different studying techniques. Spider diagrams and imagery massively helped me during university in understanding complex scientific processes. The typical length of a lesson is usually between one and two hours. I gained experience in tutoring during my time as an aupair, in which I organised and planned English lessons for two 12-year-olds. These lessons involved many learning activities, testing knowledge and games. My lessons are for ages between 12 and 18.
