About Priya

Hi! I’m a third-year bioengineering student at UCLA with a strong background in calculus, chemistry, biology, and physics. I’ve spent years building both technical knowledge and communication skills, and I love helping students turn confusion into clarity. My approach is patient, organized, and supportive, with a focus on understanding rather than memorizing. I take professionalism seriously—showing up prepared, using clear explanations, and creating a calm, encouraging learning environment. Students can count on me to be reliable, respectful, and fully committed to their success. My goal is to help each student gain confidence, master the material, and genuinely enjoy learning.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking difficult concepts in calculus, chemistry, biology, and physics into simple, intuitive ideas. I teach by building strong foundations first, then guiding students through problems step by step until the methods make sense.

A typical lesson includes a quick review, a clear explanation of the topic, guided examples, and time for independent practice. I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style to keep sessions comfortable and productive.

What sets me apart is my strong science background, clear communication, and patient, encouraging teaching style, which is ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students.
