About Abigail
I have just finished my second year of Biochemistry at UCL (ranked 10th in the world this year). In my first year I achieved a high 2:1 overall, with first class grades in chemistry and microbiology. In my A-levels I achieved straight As chemistry, biology and history. I have experience tutoring A level chemistry and my student achieved an A grade when they were predicted a C, and is now studying at their top choice of university.

I am a Biochemistry Masters student and I am looking to teach GCSE science and A-level Chemistry. My sessions are based around answering past paper questions, which I find to be a great way to expose the area which need more work. Once these areas have been identified, I will go back to basics with the theory, before returning to the past question. My student and I will then work through the question together, before moving on so the student works through one independently while explaining their working. In my experience, this is a great way to cement both theoretical understanding and exam technique which are necessary for fantastic results!
