About Djameel

Hi, I’m Djameel, a McGill graduate in Finance and Sustainability, ACCA Level 3 candidate, and current professional at a Big Four firm with previous work experience in consulting and venture capital. I’ve been where you are: navigating challenging courses, aiming for better grades, and trying to truly understand the material. I know what works, and I bring that knowledge to every lesson. My students benefit from a clear, structured approach, lessons tailored to their needs, and explanations grounded in real-world examples. I’ve earned straight A’s in Economics, Finance, Business, and Accounting, and I can teach fluently in both English and French (C2 level). Above all, I care about your progress. I take the time to understand your goals and work with you step by step until you achieve them. With me, you’ll get not only a tutor, but a mentor in your academic journey.

About the lesson

I create tailor-made syllabuses based on each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals, combining exam-oriented practice with clear explanations grounded in real-life examples from my experience in consulting, venture capital, and my current role at a Big Four firm. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, moves into new concepts applied through practical cases, and ends with a concise summary so you leave with exam-ready notes. I also offer office hours to tackle questions and address weaknesses between sessions. Having earned straight A’s in Economics, Finance, Business, and Accounting at McGill, I know what it takes to go from average to top grades. As a C2-level French speaker and ACCA Level 3 candidate, I can teach in both English and French with a professional, results-driven approach. I work with high school, CEGEP, and early university (U0/U1) students to strengthen understanding, build confidence, and deliver tangible academic results.

I am so happy to recommend my French teacher, Djameel. I studied with him for several months after struggling to learn on my own.

Djameel is a fantastic teacher because he is incredibly patient and truly wants you to understand. He makes his lessons engaging and fun, using helpful examples from French culture, music, and everyday life. This made the language feel real and much easier to remember.

What I appreciate most is that he creates a very supportive environment. He never makes you feel embarrassed for making a mistake. Instead, he sees it as a chance to learn and kindly explains the correct way. This built my confidence to actually speak without fear.

Because of his help, I improved my pronunciation and grammar significantly and finally feel comfortable having basic conversations. I trust Djameel completely and highly recommend him to any student looking for a kind and effective French tutor. You will be in great hands.
