About Jimin
I'm a college freshman at UC Berkeley pursuing a simultaneous degree in cognitive science and data science. I have been tutoring elementary to high school students online and in-person for the past 4 years. I have taught a variety of subjects mainly algebra, trigonometry, statistics, chemistry, and physiology. I enjoy dancing, hanging out with my friends, and trying new hobbies and skills. I love teaching and helping students reach their academic goals and excel in difficult subjects.

I will be utilizing textbooks, workbooks, and homework that the student has, and creating a lesson plan tailored to their current skill. For those who don't already have resources, I will find one that matches the student's subject to incorporate into my lesson plans. By actively listening to students' concerns, I foster a positive learning environment where I help students comprehend the subject and guide them to solve problems independently. Depending on the grade level of the students, I will regularly update parents on their child's progress and improvements, and suggest ways on how parents can further help their child improve.

Being a member of her Kpop Dance Team, I can definitely say she's an amazing dance lead. She teaches and corrects the moves of each members during practices, she sends comparison videos so that members can identify their mistakes easier, she organizes formations, and she makes correction docs for members to fix their moves for a certain timestamp. Even outside of practices, she doesn't hesitate to ask how I'm doing and if I'm struggling with the dance. I would highly recommend Jimin as someone else's Kpop instructor from this Superprof community.
Jimin's been my teacher for two years now and she's the best Kpop instructor! She's very patient and friendly and always makes sure I'm not confused with any moves along the way. She's also very flexible and communicative which was personally so helpful with my hectic schedule. I would definitely recommend her to other Superprof members!
