About Erfan
I am currently a 3rd-year student at the University of Otago studying a bachelor of biomedical sciences majoring in functional human biology (physiology) and aim to study a health profession program as of next year (medicine, dentistry, etc…).
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping peers through the difficulties of academic subjects. Having gone through many years of study and aiming for the very best, I know the challenges associated with excellence. I am capable of explaining concepts well with accuracy and making sure that those I teach gain a great understanding of the topic in mind.

Depending on the level of knowledge students have, I focus on personalizing a teaching technique that aims to increase the core understanding regarding a certain topic.
After teaching and reinforcing core concepts, I focus on teaching the different ways knowledge in concepts can and should be applied when answering exam questions. Overall, I have a very high standard of success and therefore will do my best to provide that in my teaching.
Regarding lesson times, I usually teach for around 1 hour. I think that this is most effective in terms of student focus. However, if the student requires more time I am happy to teach for longer durations.
