About Rasyidah
Assalamu’alaikum,
My name is Rashidah, and I am a dedicated Qur’an and Tajweed teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience, mainly teaching adult sisters and girls over the age of 10. I hold ijazah in Quran and Tajweed - Hafs an Aseem (with full isnaad tracing back to prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
Alongside my teaching, I have developed my own Qaida, which I have refined and used with students over the past years. By the permission of Allah, my past students were able to recite the Quran smoothly with proper tajweed within 6 to 12 months, depending on the frequency of the lessons per week.

I specialise in teaching Quran and Tajweed using the Uthmani script (Madinah Mushaf), and my method is especially suited for non-Arab learners who may find traditional approaches overwhelming.
What I Teach
• Qur’an recitation (with correct Tajweed)
• Reading from the Madinah Mushaf (Uthmani script)
• Step-by-step learning using my structured Qaida
• Improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence
• Correction of recitation mistakes
• Support for memorisation (Hifz), if desired

I understand that many students feel shy or worried about their recitation — my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to learn and grow at your own pace.
