About Hallie
I have worked in healthcare and the service industry my entire working life but have always tutored on the side. I led a student based intro to athletic training program for high schoolers and have experience tutoring all grade school levels. My most recent student just graduated over winter. I have a bachelors in sports and exercise science, as well as a masters in healthcare administration. I was a nanny for several years before entering the workforce at 18 and love to work with kids.

My tutoring approach is to complete the material in advance of the student completing it and then allowing the student to walk me through how they would complete the work. I intervene when more guidance or details are needed. I serve as an aid for the student to learn at their pace without falling behind grade level or feeling too overwhelmed. Sessions are broken into time chunks depending on the student's abilities to allow for movement and brain breaks.
