About Katie
I have extensive performing experience from playing piano and singing gigs to bands and classical concerts. I have Bachelor of Music Degree have trained in singing from the age of 5. Some of my accomplishments include awards such as the higher achiever award for excellent results in Grade 8 classical singing, singing on various albums and performing with platinum award composer and musician Fr Liam Lawton.
My main focus is on vocal health and have recently completed the VHE course and become a certified Vocal Health First Aider. It is also so important to me that we structure the lessons to each student individually and help achieve the desired goal in a way that you can have fun too!

I teach all ages and many genres. I have years of experience teaching singing, piano, group keyboard, theory and pre-instrumental. I teach anything from pop, musical theatre to classical. For singing lessons my main focus is that the student sings in a healthy way and enjoys what they do. I have helped many students over the years from achieving high results in their exams (average results are 90%+ in RIAM vocal and piano exams) , succeeding in college entry level music auditions to performing in front of someone for the first time. So whether you would like to begin a career in music or just learn for fun, I’d love to meet you and arrange your first lesson!
