I've known Ranjan from grad school, in addition we worked together in the same startup.
He brings a lot to the table. From my interactions with him so far, I've noticed he always insists on the highest standards as evidenced from his coding style, PR reviews, depth of knowledge etc. He articulates his ideas clearly which is invaluable when collaborating.
I've enjoyed the discussions particularly around trade-offs and his emphasis on security when designing solutions. Overall, I would highly recommend Ranjan as you can learn a lot from him.Ranjan is a great teacher! Ranjan is very helpful and patient in teaching algorithms and problem solving. Based on the couple of times I have worked together with him on leetcode problems, Ranjan has a strong understanding of pythonic elements of code; understanding of the Big O notation and engaging by providing counter-examples to make one understand the solution and the edge cases.
