About Jemima
I am an actor and performer currently studying at Arts Educational Schools in Turnham Green for my Masters. I am a trained singer in the musical theatre and operetta. I teach the same style to my students. I work with beginners to develop their voice in a gentle and safe way, particularly as their voices are still changing throughout childhood. I help my students to gain a knowledge of the basis of Music Theory.

I’m My lessons are an equal balance of fun and educational. All classes will start with a verbal check-in regarding the health of the voice and then we will move onto a warm-up. A warm-up includes scales, stretching and articulation exercises. We then will move onto working on the material. When working with songs, for each child I want to develop a strong repertoire of material that they can perform to a high standard. I will also have short sections of some lessons dedicated to the development of their music theory understanding, as I feel this is an important basis of knowledge for all singers.
