Initially, I assimilate the learner's current level, then I aim to challenge them with a problem at their level (such as a situation where an algorithm needs to be designed), the learner will then be guided through the problem, highlighting key issues and contextual items to be understood. Where the learner is unsure of a particular concept, I will adapt the workflow to focus on that key area, developing their understanding, then revisiting the problem. I always intend to make sessions student-led: for programming questions, I inspire the student to talk about their train of thought, what they think of the problem and how they would approach it, giving them hints and leading them on the correct path.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

In life, we come across many problems that can take a long time if we don't use programming.

In Problem-solving throw programming, we think about optimal strategies and then code them in the best suitable language.

In 8th class, when I saw that writing 6-7 lines in HTML can create attractive websites, that developed my interest in this field.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

To give back to our community, and take part in shaping the next generation.
  • How does your work help society?

I help society by providing code that solves problems faster and accurately. I also teach them to write those programs.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Geoffrey Hinton, because of his work on neural networks and artificial intelligence.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Swimming | Basketball | Piano Playing | Calisthenics | Card Tricks
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    Better late than never.
