About Marjan
I’m a Year 12 student who achieved straight 9s at GCSE, including Edexcel GCSE Maths and AQA GCSE Further Maths. I know how important having the right tutor is — someone who can explain concepts clearly, build confidence, and inspire genuine understanding rather than rote learning. My lessons are designed to make maths feel logical and achievable for every student.

In my lessons, I start by asking which topics you’re struggling with or want to improve, and I’ll break them down clearly using step-by-step methods. We’ll go over exam-style questions together, and I’ll show you how to approach them with the right techniques and confidence. I use a mix of guided practice and quick-fire recall to keep things engaging, and I’ll always make sure you understand the why, not just the how. I also share revision tips that helped me go from being stuck at an 8 to achieving a 9 in my mocks. Since I have just sat my GCSEs and predicted top grades, I understand exactly what exam boards are looking for and how to tackle tricky questions in a way that makes sense. I aim to make every lesson feel comfortable and encouraging, so you’re not afraid to make mistakes and ask questions — that’s how real progress happens.
