About Anthony

I am a classically trained violinist of 17 years, graduating from San Francisco State University with a B.M. in violin performance. During my professional career, I have performed with classical orchestras, chamber orchestra ensembles, jazz bands, Latin jazz groups, rock bands, and DJs. This experience, along with mentorship from world-renowned violin professors, serves as the foundation for my eclectic knowledge of music. My passion for pushing boundaries of sound has taken me from Thailand’s crystal blue waters to rustic venues in Mexico City and soulful funk spaces in Oakland, California. As the first Violin DJ at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto and The Westin Hotel in San Francisco, my unconventional talent blends improvised violin performances with electronic beats, leaving a vibrant energy in any venue. With 10 years of teaching experience, I am excited to share my enthusiasm, passion, and unique musical expertise to inspire the next generation of musicians.

About the lesson

Welcome to the world of musical mastery with me!

Teaching Method: Dive into the magic of violin, viola, cello, and guitar with a blend of classical tradition and modern innovation. My teaching style combines structured lessons with creative exploration, tailored to each student's unique learning journey.

Typical Lesson Plan: We'll start with warm-up exercises to hone technique, then delve into repertoire ranging from classical, jazz, world, pop, and electronic music. Along the way, we'll explore music theory, improvisation, and performance skills to unlock your full potential.

What Sets Me Apart: As a Violin DJ, my expertise extends beyond traditional boundaries. I infuse lessons with dynamic energy, drawing from 17 years of experience performing across continents. You'll not only learn the violin but also discover your musical voice.

Who Are Lessons For: Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, my lessons cater to all levels and ages. From aspiring virtuosos to casual enthusiasts, join me on a journey to master the art of string instruments.
