About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matt! I'm a third-year student at the University of Bath studying Aerospace Engineering. I am offering tutoring for Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level.
I achieved straight 9s across 11 GCSEs, and A*, A*, A, A in my A-Level examinations in the subjects which I am offering. Throughout my degree, I apply these concepts regularly, giving me a strong understanding of both the theory and how it’s used in practice.
Outside of academics, I’m a keen sports player, particularly in cricket and football. Balancing sport and studies has helped me develop strong discipline and time management, and I understand the challenges students face when juggling multiple commitments. I aim to bring a supportive and structured approach to my tutoring, helping students stay organised, build confidence, and perform at their best.

I take a structured approach to tutoring, working through each topic in a logical order at any pace required. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, since I believe that many marks can be gotten from understanding the methods in which topics are assessed.
I was selected by my school to tutor GCSE students on a weekly basis, so I have experience supporting students and helping them improve their performance. I aim to offer tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students at any level. The nature of my current schedule means that I can be very flexible with my lesson timings until after the exam season.
