About Hugh
I have a passion for making things, I have enjoyed coding since I first started studying Computer Science in year 9 and have always messed around and made my own projects with my A-level Coding project got a mark of 80% overall. My best projects include a non-intrusive flight meter reader, a back-up file generator with UI, and a virtual graphical calculator.
Designing and creating things with just my laptop has always appealed to me and the hours put in during my spare-time shows in my ability. I can teach a range of fundamental and advanced programming techniques in Python and C#. I can also go into much greater depth in Python modules such as numpy, cv2, pandas, tkinter, OS and various others.

I am a student who has not always been academically inclined and as such understand the challenges that a struggling student may face with difficult subjects such as Mathematics. I, therefore, appreciate the necessity of a patient, encouraging teacher in education, this shows in my teaching methods where I will never get frustrated and will take as long as the student needs to dissect a topic.
Lessons with me would typically be an hour long, with a student either selecting a topic beforehand allowing me to come with prepared material, or, completely understandably, deciding on a topic during the lesson, tailoring the lesson as it progresses to the student's needs and ideas.
