About Matt
I am a professional, gigging musician who has played drums since 2003. I've developed great band and listening skills that have often got me more gigs. Drums is my number one passion and I love sharing that with people (and the secrets the pros don't want you to know)

My lessons are for all ages and abilities and can last from 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
I use my adaptive teaching method to make sure you can clearly understand what you are being taught. If a student can't understand what I am teaching, then I'm not explaining myself in a way they can understand.
I have a few years of private tutoring under my belt, developing along the way my unique way of teaching. I've seen many students improve a lot, which make me want to teach even more!
I teach a variety of topics, such as Grades (1-8), Jazz drumming, technique, stylistic development and how to play faster, easier.

Matt has been such an amazing teacher! He has helped me improve on the drums so quickly without pressure. He has a certain way of explaining things which I feel wae very personal to my own needs.
Learning an instrument as an adult can be daunting but Matt made me feel at ease right away. Matt is a brilliant teacher and I really enjoy our lessons. I feel like I have learned so much already.
I have worked with Matthew for nearly two years at a music tuition program. Matthew is a very informative, easy going and selfless drum tutor who goes the extra mile for his students ensuring that they improve and excel at their instrument, whilst being able to have fun in the lessons and with their practice routine.
