About Jacques
I am Jacques, an 18-year-old undergraduate university student studying at the University of Leeds. I am studying Mechanical Engineering which bridges a gap between maths and physics, combining the skills from both courses. I also enjoy playing football and captained my school team to success last year and am hoping to continue to play through my time at university.

I have always been told by peers, especially in recent years, I am a helpful and informative teacher and I would like to pass on these skills to the next generations of A-level students who may be stuck with teachers or teaching methods that don't quite work for them like I was. After being predicted ABB at A-level in Year 12, I worked extremely hard learning my courses inside out to achieve 3 A*s. Therefore, I feel I am equipped to be able to meet the needs of most students whether they are struggling or just need a small boost to get over a few hurdles before exam season.

Jacques tutored me for my GCSE Maths and managed to dramatically help improve my grades. He was always extremely patient with me when I struggled on a topic and very supportive of when I did well.
