About Julia
Hi everyone, my name is Julia and I was born and grew up in Rome.
My first experience teaching has been back in Italy, while in high school, where I used to volunteer to help foreign children doing their Italian homework.
Then in 2016 I moved to England to study at the University of Gloucestershire and I graduated in 2019.
Some months later the lockdown came and I found myself with plenty of free time so I decided to finally study to take a proper certification to teach Italian as second language.
So here I am, I just finished my CLTA certificate with International House London and I can’t wait to help you learning Italian.

My lessons are based on a communicative approach and my main focus are the students’ needs and interests.
I know everyone will start from a different level and will have different reasons to learn Italian, this is why I design each and every single lesson based on the student they are created for.
Just to make an example, depending on what you want to achieve we can focus on conversations rather than grammar or vice-versa.
I always try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate any need, I am also able to have a playful approach to the language when teaching children or to provide some extra content for you to look at in between the lessons.

I love Italy and Italian language. So I am learning it for pleasure With Julia it’s even more interesting and fun. First thing she is native Italian speaker. Second she is young and nice girl with very good communication skills. Third, she makes you to feel comfortable and confident to actually learn and speak. Julia is an amazing tutor. She is reliable and flexible with her students. During the course at the International House London she built an excellent relationship with the students. At the end of the course everybody thanked her for her great attitude and passion for teaching. I really reccomend her!
