About Connor
I am a full-time worker for one of the big 4 banks. I completed my HSC in 2017, accelerating at both Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1, sitting my HSC exam for both subjects a year early and receiving a Band 6 and high Band 3 respectively. I completed my Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Financial Mathematics at Sydney University. My tutor lessons are offered over Zoom, which I have been using to tutor students for the past 3 years.

Unless you can teach it, you don't know it well enough! I am a big supporter of the multi-perspective learning approach. Tackling a problem with more than one method is a necessity in learning to develop key problem solving skills, which can be applied to all aspects in life. Each student has a different way of learning, so by using multiple methods, this can be targeted and utilised to maximise learning and growth. I will take moments to allow the student to teach me how to solve a problem, this way we know they understand the fundamentals well enough.

My son Connor is a calm, well articulated person that would make a great teacher. He achieved very high grades at school having organised his learning and studying techniques himself.
He is polite and patient and is willing to go the extra mile to help someone else which is why he was chosen as the school captain.Connor is an extremely patient and trustworthy person, two vital attributes for one to be a good teacher. He will give his students time to develop and grow improve their skills and knowledge while guiding them on the right path.
Very knowledgeable and passionate about maths. Friendly personality will make the harder topics less intimidating and he will encourage you to achieve your best. Would recommend, as both Connor and the students will learn and gain from the experience :)
