About Kruti
Namaste, I am a professional Bharatanatyam dancer and instructor based in Bangalore, holding a Master's Degree in Performing Arts (MPA) from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University. Additionally, I have successfully completed the highly revered Vidvat Examination conducted by the Karnataka state Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, and I am a recognised Doordarshan Graded Artist.
Classical dance and its rich traditions are my life's calling. In addition to my strong academic and institutional qualifications, I am an active teacher working daily with students of various age groups, helping them master the intricate balance of rhythm, posture, and expression.
I believe that a great teacher doesn't just show a movement; they explain the deeper 'why' behind it. Because of my formal university training and board qualifications, my lessons are deeply structured, yet my teaching style remains patient, encouraging, and gentle.
Classical dance is built on precise structural geometry. My pedagogy focuses on breaking down intricate traditional adavus into clear, anatomically correct technical steps, ensuring an encouraging and highly focused environment where your technique settles perfectly into your body mechanics.

My online lessons are designed to be a structured, encouraging, and completely judgment-free space tailored entirely to your current skill level. Because I hold a Master's Degree in Performing Arts (MPA) and actively train students daily, my curriculum balances high-quality technical precision with a patient, gentle approach.
Class Formats offered:
- Private One-on-One: 100% personalized attention, tailored completely to your individual speed, body mechanics, and schedule.
- Small Group Batches: Learn alongside friends or family members! I keep my online groups limited to a maximum of 4-5 students so that the class remains highly interactive and I can easily monitor everyone's posture on screen.
*Levels we cater to:
- Beginner Level: Perfect for children stepping onto the floor for the first time or adults wanting to explore a new passion. We start from scratch with basic posture (Araimandi), fundamental footwork (tatta adavus), and single-hand gestures (Asamyuta Hastas).
-Intermediate Levels: Designed for return learners or students who already know the basics. We focus on advanced adavu combinations, speed variations, rhythmic synchronization (tala), and an introduction to expressive storytelling (Abhinaya).
*How Each 60-Minute Lesson is structured:
1.The Warm-up (10 mins):
Gentle stretching, neck, and eye movements to prepare the body.
2.The Core Lesson (40 mins):
step-by-step physical breakdown of dance steps and theoretical concepts.
3. The cool down and review (10 mins):
closing Namaskaram and a quick check-in to clear any doubts.
I specialize in making classical dance accessible, fun, and deeply rewarding. My goal is to help you build physical stamina, grace, and a deep cultural connection at your own unique pace.

Standard Single Session / International Live Class and 1-on-1 Class : ₹1,200 per hour
Special Advanced Video Consultation: ₹1,500 per dance item (Comprehensive feedback report on posture, rhythm, and Abhinaya. Does not include choreography).
Note: Premium in-person home visits are highly limited and restricted strictly to a 2 km radius around Malleshwaram/Sadashivanagar to ensure absolute scheduling precision
