About Lily
I started building a foundation in how to assist students in various techniques as an AP student in high school. Since then, I've worked with many students individually and in group course work.
Being a medical student demanded that I became efficient with my study techniques, especially with the amount of material that is reviewed and taught in a short amount of time. My undergraduate and graduate careers allowed me to hone in on these techniques through a lot of trial and error. My goal is to bring that confidence and ability to each student so they can be successful by their first exam.
My background also encompasses extensive work in psychology and concentrations in celebrating an open discussion around mental health. I've worked with students that experience test taking anxiety, undergo the ups and downs of passing and failing exams, students with ADD/ADHD and/or imposter syndrome and more. Every student brings their own experiences with them to the classroom and I enjoy helping students overcome any emotional obstacles that surface through the learning process.

Lessons for AP STEM students, college STEM students, MCAT subjects and/or students looking to master concepts for basic sciences for medical school. I also offer guidance/advice and personalized study schedule building.
Students can expect to find personalized study schedule planning, reviewing material or homework questions together, study tips and advise, and more. Our first session will be about getting to know you, discovering your needs, coursework, and expectations. We will create a plan together so that you can have support where you need it most!
Having been through many courses and board exams on my journey through medical school, I have a thorough understanding of how each subject requires unique techniques and learning tools to understand and apply key concepts. I have a background in working with students that experience difficulties with concentration and rote memorization of material. I seek to help students find the leaning style that works best for them.
I truly empathize with what it means to be a student in STEM. I've mastered concepts while balancing a dense course load, extracurricular activities, employment, and social life. I want to focus on what works for you and how to make you successful not only in your academic endeavors, but also in any future goals! :)
