About Disha

Hi! I'm a medical student at Ross University School of Medicine with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a strong background in biology, biochemistry, physiology, and genetics. I recently passed the USMLE Step 1, so I understand firsthand the challenges of preparing for high-stakes exams like the MCAT and Step 1.

Throughout my academic journey, I've learned that true success comes from understanding concepts rather than memorizing facts. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking down difficult topics into simple, logical explanations that stick. About the lesson

Preparing for the MCAT or USMLE Step 1 can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. As a medical student who recently passed USMLE Step 1, I know exactly what it takes to master high-yield concepts, think through difficult questions, and build an efficient study strategy.

My teaching focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I break down complex topics into simple, logical concepts that are easy to remember and apply on exam day. Whether you're struggling with biochemistry, biology, physiology, immunology, genetics, or test-taking strategy, I tailor every lesson to your learning style and goals.

A typical lesson begins by identifying areas of weakness, followed by interactive teaching, practice questions, and review of the reasoning behind each answer. I also teach how to recognize common exam patterns so you can approach questions with confidence.
