About Michelle
I have had unpaid experience voluntarily tutoring several students as a maths buddy in secondary school. At university, I have been able to continue this by helping out first years maths students. I gave tutoring lessons on request and the first year students achieved and even surpassed their goals.

I am a 3rd year financial mathematics student studying at Queen Mary University of London. I have had a lot of varied volunteering experience with children and with caring for the elderly. I have great time management skills, patience and I am very adaptable. I have also developed leadership skills through seminars in areas with professionals from business to politics.
Typical Hour Lesson Structure
10-15 mins: Going over previous lessons to refresh memory
Identifying problem areas and addressing them
15 mins: Learning the next topic
15 mins: Practicing the topic and developing the depth of understanding
10-15 mins: Looking over tricky questions,
Identifying problem areas in the new topic and addressing them, Creating targets for the next lesson
Timings will be adjusted to suit each student
First lesson would be getting to know the pupil, in particular their goals and what they aim to achieve.
