About Jay
I'm Jay, an Oxford law student. I've always loved explaining things - from secondary school til now. I think it places me well to tutor since most tutoring doesn't involve the student understanding. It mostly comprises of worksheets and marking without a true explanation.

At GCSEs, I had all 9s. For A levels: French (A*); Philosophy (A*); and English Literature (A). I personalise each lesson to the student based on their needs. Having gone through the Oxford tutorial system, I understand that have a conversation is one of the best ways to learn. No dictating, no lecturing, no one-sided tutoring. It will be a mix of talking about different concepts, marking work, and explaining things.
My schedule is extremely flexible and each lesson could be from 1hr to 1hr 30 depending on what you want, seeing as I benefit more from longer lessons usually at university.
